GlyMed+ Brilliant Tone
An advanced pigment-correcting serum created for stubborn hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, and visible redness. Brilliant Tone combines multiple tyrosinase-inhibiting and brightening ingredients to support a clearer, more even-looking complexion and luminous glow.
BEST FOR
Clients dealing with stubborn discoloration, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, sun-related spots, or uneven tone who are ready for a stronger corrective product and consistent daily SPF.
KEY BENEFITS
• Helps visibly reduce stubborn discoloration and uneven tone
• Uses multiple tyrosinase inhibitors to target excess pigment through several pathways
• Brightens dull-looking skin and supports a more luminous complexion
• Helps calm the appearance of redness
• Supports prevention of recurring visible discoloration when paired with consistent sun protection
• Can be used by a range of skin types when professionally recommended
KEY INGREDIENTS
Kojic acid, niacinamide, arbutin, lactic acid, licorice root extract, bearberry extract, and two forms of vitamin C.
BRILLIANT TONE VS. KRX MELA DEFENSE
KrX Mela Defense is my preferred introduction to a tyrosinase inhibitor and is a beautiful option for first-time users, sensitive skin, and almost every skin type. Brilliant Tone is the stronger corrective option I reach for when pigment is more stubborn. Sensitive or reactive clients should receive my approval before starting Brilliant Tone so I can confirm that it fits their routine and introduce it appropriately.
HOW TO USE
Use at night after cleansing, as directed by your skincare professional. Apply to the face, neck, and décolleté, then follow with additional serums and moisturizer. Start gradually if instructed. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is required, and intentional sun exposure should be minimized while correcting pigment.
NATALEE’S TAKE
I love Brilliant Tone. It is one of the strongest tyrosinase-inhibiting products in my retail lineup, so this is what I reach for when pigment is being stubborn. I do not treat it like a casual beginner serum—your routine, tolerance, and SPF habits matter. If you are not consistent with sunscreen, this is not the product to start with because unprotected sun exposure can work against your progress and make hyperpigmentation harder to correct.
